Blitz Type 01

Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong section but I wasn't sure where else to put it.

I have a set of Blitz type 01 17x8 +38 wheels that I'm looking to get refinished. In the process of researching and looking at pics of other Blitz type 01s I noticed that mine are different. Every single pic I found of these wheels shows the valve stem located outside the bolts close to outside of the lip, like this



Now here are a couple of pics of mine.



So I guess my question is, do you think mine are original and just really old or did some dummy really cut into these wheels for some reason?

Nah I have some older Zauber wheels that have the valve stem identical to yours, with a slit there. I'm sure yours are legit.
