ok so i finally got my silvia front the way i wanted it, it had a seibon CF hood with widebody fenders and a nice bumper, i was so happy to get it finished and just did a crappy paint job, this is how it was

but then the other night i was driving on a main road with a bunch of fast food places on the side and some mexican dude thought his honda was a rocket and could fly out 10 feet in front of me exiting jack in the box, but like most honda owners he misjudged the power of his car, i smashed right into him, eventully the cops came, to my dismay it was the officer who has pulled me over countless times, a few for drifting a few for no exhaust, etc, etc, so he goes "MR. DRIVER (my last name), im surprised to see your car lasted this long!" and i "psshed" him off, so another cop comes and goes "are you ok?" i was angry at the moment and went "i dont give a f*** if im ok, WHAT THE f***! MY CAR!"

so now its back at my house and now and insurance is coming tommarow to look at it, if they total it is it even worth buying it back and fixing it? i mean the under frames fine its just the inner fender and radiator supports that destroyed

Unless you can weld, and have a lot of time on your hands, I wouldn't even put the time into it. Just get a shell and transfers everything over.

doesn't seem like you have much to swap over..? It will take some work to get it fixed, to me, it would be better to get a another car.

if you love your car then fix it. its not all that terrible. you all ready have the front end off. drill out the spot welds on the radiator support and replace it. then straighten out the right hand side.

u might be able to beat the s*** out of that battery area and get it close to back to good, but i dont know the extent of damage. It wouldn't look perfect but it would work. There ya go, whatever u do, now u gots Teddy if u wanna sell the shell haha.

i talked it over with my high school auto shop friends and they said they do welding and stuff, i just need to supply the parts to weld on, im thinking about it.

because i really need a track car, doing the whole DD/TC thing is the dumbest idea ever, so fix it to pass inspection and just track it so when i hit a wall i can giggle not be sad and embarrassed to drive on the street

but if i do decide to part it because the auto shop falls though il part it to the shell, then teddy you can have it for free if you come get it
