So I Washed the car today and decided to take some pictures. I had picked up some rims a little while ago, Never got around to doing some pictures for you guys. My last threads with pictures I got knocked on for the old ugly rims and tall ride height.

BeforeAfter

I kinda want the car lower, but not until the skirts on and I still have to roll the inside lip on the fenders.

Remove antenna. Add rubber plug. More low. Lip. Skirts. Rear valence. Move to interior and motor.

The evil Car wash machine took the antenna off for me. Cant go much lower, Hesperia's roads SUCK. I have a lip. I have skirts (there not installed yet). There's nothing to see in interior and engine bay

LOL^ yea man. try that everyday and I drive all over the place hesperia, victorville, apple valley. This is my daily.

Even the drive ways here suck there like only 3 feet long but they rise up like 5 feet.lol i have to go almost sideways to go in and out of places, hell even in some of the flippin intersections. They have these huge dips for runoff water here. We don't have sewers in alot of main roads and they have to make due with what they can.

When I go down the hill or when im in more developed cities i feel so much better that i can drive without feeling like im gonna rip my chin off.

Rims look great!, even a spring strut combo would improve appearance and performance tenfold.

but you know, it is Nico so ideally you should get coils

what are wheel specs?

either way good start!

wheels are 16 x 8 offset is 12 or 15 not really sure...

I do currently have coils... but.. there not very good ones, there used and they were just laying around but there not blown or anything (yet). only reason I stuck them in was to lower the car and give it a better appearance.

Im not really impressed with them so far. The ride is O.K./Decent. ill eventually buy something better.

I think we all know the formula for the bandwagon 240....especially if you've spent more than 10 minutes in this section.

haha it is time to lower it a couple of inches then!

that car will have an awesome stance with the body hugging the wheels.

good thing they are ok offsets!

Good taste, huh? According to who? I'm tired of seeing people following the "Nico" code. Car looks good, man...don't listen to people telling you to slam it when you daily the car. Especially in pothole ridden areas.

No one in this thread said to slam it, some have suggested to lower it a bit more in order to get a more aggressive stance. No one is yelling at him to lay frame or anything so relax.

He posted it online for an opinion, you won't like everything you hear.

We think a few inches just to rid the gap would make it look just that much better, but those are only our opinions right?

In the end it is his car, so let him worry about it

Good call! The fact is, we all have our opinions. And at the end of the day, they are just that, "our" opinions.

OP- new wheels look good

Make it look like every other drift kids car! Add some sweet zipties to hold your panels on and don't cut the end off them either. s***'s gonna look hot!

I always liked the look (and function) of leaving the rear alone. Ballers get diffusers, ricers get rear lips, and the rest of us have a stock rear bumper.

And aficionados get OEM rear valances.

I love the wheels, OP. Hyper Black FTW. But the 18x10 Grids are the best!

Wait wait wait... Are you saying these wheels are knock offs of Grids... which are knocks off of TE37's?!

They do make Grids in 18x9.5 for 4x114.3, I believe...
