new guy, needs parts for r34 or r32 panels

Hi, im david,im 25, i like long walks on the beach, daisies, pomeranians and cross-stiching.

but seriously though

im sure i am a little out of place here, seems EVERYBODY ON HERE owns an r34, unless they are a poser which is easy to tell.

...but im new to the nissan world, have always been a mazda guy. just sold my rx8 and purchased a 1992 hcr32....i believe its the GTS since its non turbo (i cant read the manual it in jap)

how i got it:
the guy i bought it from is filipino, good friend and owns a honda only repair shop ( he bought it at a salvage auction for 1300 and was only bidder, then it sat in his shop in the VERY back behind a 12 foot tall stack of crushed parts cars for 3years) i was nosing around for a part that he pointed and said "somewrer orer dare" and found it...under a car cover, and i thought...thats a little big to be a honda, i peeked and s*** my pants.....title and customs paperwork just chillin in the passenger seat.

i asked him "why don't you fix this thing", he said, "cant find parts"... so i bought it off him for 2300 bucks. i couldn't pass it up, even if its the slow as piss 180hp one....but not only that, its FEDERALLY registered in the us with state title as well.

the good, it starts fine, it runs, it drives...albeit ugly, and its the manual version. everything underhood is perfect....just dirty.

the bad, i need a radiator support, front right headlight, front right fender and bumper.
the support can be pulled but i would rather replace it.

now the idea, since my buddy who sold this to me does bodywork, (he buys totaled hondas and fixes them for sale) he said he could do this when i presented the idea to him......for 800 bucks said and done

r34 conversion of the panels. ive seen him cut probably 100 hondas apart to redo the rear quarterpanels and such, and pull numerous frame rails and all sorts of stuff. so i trust him with this

my issue is i CANNOT find a single place to buy these parts at. ive done a fair bit of research in conversion but i do NOT want the bee-r kit....thats a body kit i want metal. i know i need the front conversion fenders but can get away with oem everything else.

so in joining this site i am hoping if ANYONE knows where i can buy the oem r34 gtr body panels and lighting.....

also if not and all else fails if anyone knows where i can just get the oem r32 panels.

thanks in advance to all.

ps...if you are wondering why i am doing this, it is because a fully LEGAL r34 skyline in the U.S. is EXTREMELY RARE....not to mention about 30k more than this project will cost in the end...and im keeping this RWD, an AWD conversion on a GTS is hell to do.....

On the rear trunk lid on the right hand side it should say GTS, or GTS-T also look at the GT emblem on the front finders, if the T is blue its non turbo if its red it turbo, also if you look under the hood on the firewall it should say what engine came in the car. I could maybe get some of the smaller peices you need for a R32, The auto hobby shop over here gets a lot of wrecked skylines people are parting out. Someone just F***** up a nice R32 GTR a couple of days ago. he some how managed to brake the lower control arms on both sides of the car, yet he claims he was only doing 40-60K's.

Sorry but I don't believe anybody federally registered a GTS. I believe you found a GTS and purchased it for 2300 and it had state regiistration. I believe it was purchased at auction for 1300 and was for export only. If you really want to find out if its federally registered call Clint Lindsay or Coleman Sachs with the NHTSA and give them the VIN number found on the blue plate under the hood. If you know its not federally registered, I wouldn't call them. I can post their numbers if you want

I think you might want to look into this car a little more and investigate why it was for export only before you start dumping cash into it only to possibly be heart broken later, just a little advice.
