Just wanted to update members about the 'vibration issue' caused by the low engine rev's (around 1200 RPM) when travelling 40-50 km/h. I first noticed it on day 2 of ownership and posted a few times back then.

Now at 40,000 km, after my last oil change, its absolutely gone! It seems to have been steadily reducing over the past 10,000 km or so to the point where I can't even feel it if I try really hard.

So has your car changed the gear selection to accomplish this, do you think? What I mean is, are you still in the highest gear possible at say 60km/hr - the rpms should be around 1200 at that speed when the vibration is most obvious....if the rpms are higher than 1200 at that speed, then the CVT must be selecting a lower gear ratio which would eliminate the vibration but also give poorer gas mileage/efficiency.

My rpms are 1200 at 50-70km/h and I have never sensed any vibrations.

Not at all. The engine revs have not changed one bit. So the CVT seems to be responding the same at that speed, just without vibration now.
