Don't you think this reminds you of the M (shape, wheels, etc.)?

Yes, unfortunately! The body style, shape of the windows, and wheels are very similar; of course, in person it would probably not resemble the M as much as it does in the pictures. But I have noticed that each year the cars that come out are looking more and more like the M ... oh well, I guess it's better to set the standard than to be the one who is the follower.

Well it looks like the people at Buick saw what we all know here. When you have a good product, any product, compeditors are going to try and duplicate what you created for better value.

I like it. I like that new Buick LaCrosse too. But I like the 2011 M even better. I think it's good for competition. It will keep Infiniti pushing for better and better design when compeditors are gunning for their customers.

I recently went to the Miami Auto Show and was so impressed by the American brand cars. The Buick Lacrosse, it is really good looking inside and out, but as I sat in the car the seat plastic surround pinched me, ouch, not enough padding. It looks a lot like an Acura to me, you know, back when Acura made nice looking cars. My wife likes SUV's and the Buick Enclave SUV is still one of the nicest on the market. The Regal pics look a lot like the M series to me. I hope their cars turn out to be as good as they look.

Even more impressive to me was the Ford Tauras SHO, no I am not joking. It was a nice looking car, sporty 360hp V6, inside was even more roomy than the M and had so many features and nice details such as the seats, all for $40k. A lot for a Tauras but it is a lot of car, hope the resale is same as in the past, should be able to get one for half in 2 1/2 years or so. The only negative was the front wheel drive layout. The Lincoln MKS or MKZ cant remember which one was the big one, it is real competition for Infiniti M and Lexus G class now. I have not owned a Ford and the SHO might be my first. I have owned a GM car before, a 1994 Z28 and it was a lot of fun but not too dependable. Infiniti and Mercedes Benz did not join the Autoshow this year, I found this odd.

I drove a 2009 Mercury Sable, which is the twin of a Taurus, that had great acceleration for a V6 and a car that size. I can only imagine what the turbo V6 of the SHO will do.Ford is really coming up!.

It all comes around. I always thought the pre '06 Infiniti's looked a bit like a Buick.
