rear defroster failure

Mornin all. almost time to go home from work. Last night on my way into work i noticed my rear defroster wasn't working. The light on the button was on but it didn't work. Is it just a fuse or is there some sort of relay that could fail?

There are 3 things that could fail and its rare for one of them to fail. There are 2 fuses in the interior and one other one that many things are linked to it. There is also a relay for it as BEHIND the TCU and yes I mean the TCU must come out then it will be right there. There is also the switch too but most of the time its because the switch hasn't been plugged in on reassembly and I know I am guilty on doing that several times.

Well, thanks for reminding me. I just had my dash apart a week ago i might have just not plugged it back in... I dont know when i will have time to get it apart again but ill check it out. BTW paul, are you still looking for a drivers seat? i got one in decent shape just needs to be cleaned.
