We're pretty certain the cubedriver.com Project Cube will get more than its fair share of attention now...

If this was my only car, it'd concern me... I've done damn near everything else.

p.s. When have you known me to do anything CLOSE to rice?

That one time when you glued vinyl all over the outside of a nissan cube....

BTW, definitely inspired by EVH's guitar design. I've always liked the randomness of it - Did you know no two of his guitars are the same?

Rota RB's are next on the list...

And that's a mighty big exhaust tip for such a weeny engine...

The vinyl makes the Cube damn near impossible to focus on.Which is a good thing, as the Cube might be uglier than the Aztec.

Blacked out is more of what I preferred. But I'm not the one paying the note on the car either.

Hope you enjoy it Greg... You'll be getting a lot of attention/stares in it now.

I thought I was going to hate it, but I actually like it.

I wouldn't do it to a Cube if I owned one, but if I owned one it also wouldn't be intended to promo a forum. Low-key wouldn't work for your purposes, obviously. It looks eye-catching without looking like ricey garbage, and I dig it.

I'd have gone more boso, but then again everyone is doing that now, so it isn't so original anymore.

I'm amazed the Cube hasn't garnered more tuner attention. People are modding the crap out of the ugly new xB, but the Cube is kind of getting ignored, which sucks, because it's superior in every way.

I would strap that cake to the roof of the Mustang and take sharp turns, flinging layers at innocent pedestrians.

Thanks Hash - That was the idea... Make it so damn obnoxious that no one could miss it. Plus, I always loved that design.

Several months ago, I pitched the concept to Mehdi (mchedaddi) and he Photoshopped a couple versions... One of which is on the cubedriver.com page.

He did one with the original (red base, b & w stripes), but then I thought, "Let's reverse it". The r & w on black hadn't been done yet, and I think it turned out good.

It's definitely an attention grabber. The graphics are very nicely done. Add a nice stereo, display a similarly styled guitar beside it and it's a winner.
