Navigation, need upgraded software? What do I do?

okay, I have 2003 M45. my navigation software is WAYYYY outdated ofcourse. what do/can i do to get the maps up to date?

thanks, but i "heard" there is some other disc i need to install the upgrade disc? like some disc that might have come with vehicle from the factory? is that true? or do i just down load the software to a disc and load it in my cd changer?

lol i gues my "cut to the chase question" being how do i go about installing it into my nav system in my car?
