180sx + s14= ?

Hi all,

Out of curiosity I was wondering whats more practical. And when I say practical i mean cheaper, cleaner, and faster. Im new to the whole silvia world (or tuning in general) so go easy on me. So I recently heard of a sileighty. I think its sweet idea. I have always been a fan of the 180 tail lights but not so much the s13 front clip. on the other hand, an s14 kouki front clip is killer in my opinion. So my question is what is a more practical change? To get a 180sx and do in sileighty style, change the front to a kouki s14 kinda look. or get a s14/240sx and change the rear fenders, lights, bumper etc? not including the hatch back. In keeping with the coupe trunk style. I know both ways would require extensive fabrication and body work, and of course $. But im just curious. Feedback is much appriciated. Flaming....is lame.

its gonna be easier and cheaper to take a s13 hatch and install the tail lights and do the front end conversion. someone makes the fenders so thats done. as far as i know the only real fabrication is to mount the headlights and bumper. wire up the lighting. and the term is s13.4 and in case your wondering a s13 with a s15 front clip is a s13.5

moso is right and if your good at body work you can make your own fenders using half and half I know i've seen it on a forum somewhere also zenki s14 front ends are really cheap because of everyone with s14s going to kouki

the price of these are dumb. 500 for tail light! HA, i found some new for 399 plus ta and shipp and thats still way to high, i would probably buy them no more then 250. any more and theres much better things to buy

haha yeah. they are overpriced. I saw a set for $645. I just googled the first images i saw for the sake of the post and question.
