I've seen a lot of post on what to do before peoples warranty expires, and I have also noticed some people saying you can pay some mechanics to find a lot of things that would be covered under warranty. Does Infiniti ever just hook the computer up to see if anythings wrong, even if no lights are on your dash? I would love to find a mechanic to find stupid little things that they know they can get fixed under the warranty before it expires!

I have to take my car in for an oil change here this week and would like them to look at a couple other things, but is there anything I can say or do to make them look for anything that would need replaced or fixed?

That's reasonable, however no computer is going to tell you that there's a cracked manifold, your seat mounts are loose, the trunk doesn't open correctly, the sunroof is not aligned, the headlights are not lined up, there's an interior light out, the engine cover shroud has a crack and the molding on the side is peeling off.

A routine appointment for any issues at the dealer should do the trick as will searching through these threads for issues that you can find yourself. Tell the dealer what the reason is for the appt. They get reimbursed for warranty work already, right?
