Hello all....

Just bought a 2007 M35x in Seringeti Sand w/ Adv. Tech, and Aero pkg.

Im picking it up tomorrow and I cant friggen wait!

Had a Question ( and being new to this forum, but not other car forums I did do a search function to no avail.)

Can I add on a Rear Seat entertainment package to a used 07'? and also how does this thing work... I understand you cant wach DVD's in motion so what does it display while in motion, the navi screen.

also in my model is there av and video inputs in that little panel in the back.

and last question, do my passengers have rear audio contols, and how does that work.

thanks!

congrats buddy! please don't hesitate to post pics as soon as possible : )

you can add a rear entertainment package to your existing setup; all it consists of is 2 IR headphones, a remote, and a drop down TV (mine came from the factory but it is hella expensive. close to $2300 installed)

to find out if you have rear audio controls, just flip down the rear armrest and see if there is a shiny panel; if there is, you are in luck! as the rear passengers will have their own individual audio and climate controls, plus they will also be able to operate the rear sunshade (if so equipped)

you cannot watch movies while in motion on the main screen, (unless you perform the dvd hack mod like i did). i catch up on all my favorite show while driving

Yeah I will def post pics as soon as they come in...

def planning on the dvd/nav hack, although I know myself too well to know that it will probally end up being a distraction.

with the rear audio controls, would they essentally be able to contol the audio output through all 4 speakers, just the rear speakers, or headphones only?

the reason im asking is because I pick up my little cousins every sunday in NYC and drive them back to my house in Westchester (a 45 min drive, 20 if there not in the car lol)

Just tried the audio controls in the back and they DO control volume for entire car. However, if you have these controls, you should also have the "REAR CONTROL CANCEL SWITCH" located up front by the seat heater/cooler switches. This will allow you to stop the use of the rear controls.

Hope this helps...
