I have the MOMO F16 shift knob and am ordering the leather shift boot from redlinegoods.com. However the ebrake needs some help. I am planning on buying the MOMO pitstop with the pitstop boot. My car is a 2001 Nissan Maxima.

pit stop handle: http://www.momousa.com/products/pit-stop.html

pit stop boot: http://www.momousa.com/products/pit-stop-boot.html

When I go to purchase the ebrake handle it is straight forward I just chose Carbon. Is there no special version (universal fit)? I heard their is a special adapter to buy? The boot on the other hand asks what version you want (C1-C10). What version do I need? Also, will the boot match the material from redlinegoods.com for the shift boot? Thanks in advance.

Unless I'm mistaken, the pitstop e-brake handle just fits over the stock e-brake handle. That's why there's only one version (and why it's so fat).

As for the material, I'd contact redlinegoods and ask them. They do custom stuff, so I'm sure they could make something work.

Hmm, that makes sense although on some cars (350z) I have seen where the owner had to cut / take off the old plastic / rubber handle. Does the handle fat enough that it looks bad installed? If anyone else knows about this please let me know. Also, let me know which one I am suppose to order (boot / handle).

So I have found the answer somewhat in this forum:

http://maxima.org/forums/group....html

The pit stop handle is a universal fit. It requires you to order the honda adapter which is option A6 I believe. This allows the e-brake button to fit through the handle properly. The above forum mentions heating the old handle and slipping it off..... then cutting some sort of hose and then installing the pit stop. Now the only problem I have is the boot. Seems like there is a universal boot but also boots that fit properly. The options are here.

I don't want the "universal fit" does any one know which one I should order possibly the C1 option?
