As for posting pics on NICO ....

The pics have to be "hosted" online somewhere. NICO had a free hosting site, but ran into "software" issues when we switched from VBB to ZeroForums (previous guys didn't like us changing). NICO currently has a pay (small annual fee) site iServe, or you can use one of the many online for free (pop ups and ads) pages.

Once you have them hosted, then you insert the url of the image in the body of your post, like this [ i m g ] h t t p://w w w.urlofyourpic.com/coolpicture.jpg[/ i m g ]

Simply don't put the "spaces" inside of the [] brackets, nor your pic's web address.

I don't know everything, but I can tell you how I upload pics: 1. Take pics and upload to computer

2. Upload pics to Photobucket

3. Open 2 browser windows. One to Nico, the other to Photobucket.

4. Use the "insert image" button when you are ready to post the pic. It is the 4th button over from the left, right next to that underlined U. There is a little Earth with a sideways figure 8 at the bottom of it. Do you see it?

5. Copy/Paste the code from the bottom of the dropdown list (a list of different codes will drop down as you move the cursor over the picture on photobucket). For Nico, you will use the bottom code (other websites use the other ones, but you can preview your post to make sure you got the right one).

6. Sit back and relish in your posting success!
