Any ideas?

I have an '08 M35 that I purchased used with approximately 15k miles. The car is not shooting any codes, but has recently begun what feels like random, involuntary braking across all speeds/all gears. It doesn't feel like an engine miss, but rather, a subtle one second count of "gently applying the brakes". My local Infiniti dealer cannot figure out the problem. Some days, the problem is more pronounced than others. Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated?

Are you coasting when this 'involuntary braking' occurs? It could be the car just downshifting....

I notice it most when I'm traveling at a steady speed, and occasionally under slight acceleration. However, I don't recall having the car do this as I'm coasting.
