hatch leaks again!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok fellow z owners am back with what i thought was a problem i fixed a couple of month ago last week i took the car out for a run and decided to stay out and hit the local watering hole for some spirits.........i had a little to much i figured about a shot to much anyways i had to leave her there (behind the owners fence) till the next day .during the night it poured and for the next 2 days it poured i brought her home and parked in the garage and that was, it this was last sat night ...today i went to get my clubs out of the trunk and when i opened the hatch i'de say about six ounces of water came running out of the hatch on to my clubs but more important on to the driver side Speaker now....i posted this same problem before and thought that the third brake light was the issue so i took it off and ran a bead of silicone around the bolts and push pin areas and reinstalled it ...thought i fixed it.....its not.....i checked the t-top drains blew them out ..the seal for the hatch wouldnt be the cause because its coming from the top under the plastic trim the glass seal looks real good the seal were the hatch meets the roof is good.. i dont have any answer for this problem and was wondering if anybody has had this problem before

Mine did that once, but it was immediately after a wash. I just wiped the speaker out and it's never happened since...

i've got this problem before. not sure if it's the same problem but everytime after i washed my car, and i open my hatch there will be some water driping from both side of the hatch, dripping directly onto the speaker, i hope i didn't damaged my speaker :/

ive got the same problem that it leaks from the hatch on the driverside speaker but i have a little rust spot near the hatch well i got the car like that ur not alone it ruined my speaker i hate it when it rains then ive got a resivore of water waiting till i lift the hatch

i think i found the problem...........rear wiper seal all cracked out .........gotta order one before spring.....for now saving $ FOR XMAS presents (lotta kin)

That would actually make sense. I never thought to check the wiper. My wiper itself is cracked. I was always looking around the edges of the hatch and the weatherstripping and such.
