95' 240 still wont work (electrical problem?)
my car still wont work i got a new cluster into it today and the tach does not go up and the battery will not charge up. it just dies im starting to get very pissed off an i cant take it in cause im too broke so before i spend more money what the hell could be wrong with it? also the cluster does not light up at all, the turn signals work, the clock works and i think the temp works idk for sure, but my dilemma is its about to snow and all i got is a motorcycle to ride on

forgot to mention that the old cluster did this too, no lights no readout just clock turns and then dead 240......

My friend had the same problem when he bought his s13 we had to drive it for like 100miles but it died on a highway 40 miles away from home. Well the only place that looked like it had power was the clock. the battery was kinda discharged so i taut it was the alternator but it didn't make sense that the car had no power at all just in the clock. Well let me make this short it was the alternator fuse its like 75amp and all the power goes through it if it blows your stuck Just check it.O and most auto parts stores don't have those its a dealership part. It's like 10$ When i replace d it the car started up and it was fine. hope it helps.
