Well yesterday I was performing P'wnin's window/door lock LED mod and I got frustrated and accidentally shorted out the front passenger's window switch. The lock switch still functions but the window will not respond from the switch on that door or the master control. This is all I could find in the FSM:

Can someone please help? The circuit board smoked a little and I'm guessing I just fried it and need to replace. BTW I didn't use any resistors and the working LED's seem to be functioning fine, let's see how long they last being over powered.

the driver side switch pack has to be hooked up for the others to function.

Which board smoked and can you see any fried parts

They're all hooked up and I can't control that window with it's dedicated switch or the master control switch. It was dark when I had everything apart so I'm not sure if anything looks fried. I decided to go ahead and buy all 4 door switches off of ebay for $50. The stealer wanted $150 just for the front pass switch!

I think when you replace the pass door switch, it will all work again. When I had a problem with my pass switch, I unplugged it to do something, then noticed that the driver master wouldn't work it either. So, your pass switch is probably causing nothing to work on that window, especially if all the other ones are ok.

That's a good price for all of the switches. I spent $25 just to get two individual switches, and not the master.

The passenger side window/lock switch pack has its own processor which controls its window functions, so it's not really controlled by the drivers switch pack. You probably wouldn't be able to see anything burnt since you probably burned a trace in one of the chips.

Were you just testing it when you shorted it?

In most cases the factory resistors are higher than needed for new LED's which makes the LED's underpowered.
