The careless removal and throwing in the backseat of my sunshade caused the passenger left seat speaker grille to pop off. I read in the service manual that if the grille is removed, it cannot be reattached and a new one needs to be ordered. I think this is right because I can't reattach it.Yesterday I noticed that the driver's side left grille has also become unattached.Has anyone reattached the grille, and if so, how?

You can re-attach the speaker grilles, but once they come off they have a tendency to keep popping off, at least mine do. The trick to putting them back on is to get them properly centered & then push down hard in the middle of the cover. You will feel them snap into place if you do it correctly. If you dont feel the snap move it around till you get it into the right spot.

On my 2006 M45 they keep popping off. I snap em back in place again but they don't stay long. I wonder what the price of new ones is. Or if it would even solve the problem..

the one on the left side of my passenger seat pops off anytime someone moves around a bunch in the seat. it gets kinda annoying and I'm sure one of these days ill break another snap and it wont go back on.

just center it on the speaker and push and it should snap in.

Will they fix TSB issues even if the car is no longer under comprehensive warranty?

Yes, but the cost will become yours not the dealers.
