My 97 KA is out and I stipped it down. Im doing a budget rebuild on her because some of my piston rings went. I want a reliable engine and maybe 14 psi on a dd.Here is my plan so far.
Fel Pro Full gasket set ( head gasket be alright ?)
Forged 9:1 JE Pistons + Rings
Recondition Stock rods
Aluglide ACL bearings (good enough for boost?)
Polished Cams + Crank
Recondition Cylinder Walls
All Trans and Oil seals
New valve stem seals
Exedy stage 2 with lightened Fly
Stock Head and Main rods be alright?
320 HP goal
Any other suggestions?
or change something up before I start ordering?
