So i have been looking for one for a good price forever and today I found one...but made a huge mistake being so excited. I have a 92 240sx w/ SR20DET Swap. However the used ecu i bought happens to be the 30-1600 (240sx w/ KA, Altima, Sentra, Pulsar) when I need the 30-1601. I havn't had a chance to go and see if it plugs in even.

Any reprograming since there only one part number off?

I know the biggest problem in rewiring to make it work would be the coil packs vs distributer..... maybe replacing the cam sensor w/ S14 SR20DE RWD Disributer and a little bit of good old fashioned swap wiring...anyone else ever do this? lol

Ok so I think I can run the KA24DE US wiring harness with the SR using the SR20DE RWD Distributor. Does any one know where I can find one?

You can't just swap the harnesses, you'll be missing some things and have other plugs that aren't compatible. I'm not sure if the plugs themselves are compatible, but even if they are, there is going to be some fun repining work to be done.

I'm assuming that you found one used? Maybe you can get in touch with AEM directly and see if they can rework it for you.

Yes it was used... well i did find out that the KA harness is pretty close to the SRDE RWD. Distributor plugs are the same and i know injectors are the same all the nissan knock sensors around this year are the same VSS the same, so I have CTS, Idle air, If the O2 plug is different and maybe a few others? I am going to contact aem before i dive into it though.

That's the best way. It would be kind of silly to go to a distributor set up.

A little silly yes but if there is nothing I can do to make it work with the cam sensor and coil packs...Then the distributor is the way to go price to Hp wise. I wish it would have just been the 180sx sr20det ems to begin with
