Engine Break in?

I put new motor n how long I have to let engine break in.How my miles?

New engines are micro-finished so the break-in period is is much reduced, 3000 miles or less. To be on the safe side, use regular oil on the first 2 oil changes then synthetic thereafter. Change oil on the 1st 1000 miles, then another one after 3000 miles.
