Anyone have experience with this program? Ive read some tutorials and such but i was just wondering if anyone knew how to mess with the injectors and to get a decent tune.. I have a 93 s13, KA24de, garret to4e(12psi), v-mount intercooled, walboro 255 fuel pump, felix 860cc injectors. Maybe someone can post up a quick little how-to on the program. The program is, Megatune 2.25 p3.

Any help would be appreciated, my car is running suuuuper rich right now

Update: Currently printed out the whole fuel part of the manual, and im studying it as we type. Im getting most of it and I'm sure if i just take my time and dont rush it should go smoothly.

go into the program. Top tabs open fuel setup tab. Then Injector Characteristics. Then Set the injector size for those injectors.

Very few people running the MS without any trouble. Atleast on the KA that is, I've seen it work awsome on other cars.

If you are not sure how MS works and are new at the whole tuning your own car I would not mess with it.

I run MS and love it on my KA-T but it took a lot of long nights to figure it out...

if your looking for something to "turn down your injectors" get a safc. its easier to tune with then a fulll standalone

Man...I hate the SAFC. There are more threads on the WWW about cars running like crap with those then there are eBay turbo threads...lol.

Currently studying the manual, and i got my mechanical wiz of a dad to help me. So it should be easy, but an experience.

basic tuning becomes easy after you learn it. The hard part is learning to tune the car when its heavily modded because you run into idle problems and injector sizing/latency issues. With different thermostats youll have to adjust temp tables.

Its a lot to learn but in the end knowing how to do it is a great and helpful thing.

Sorry but when someone uses the term "turn down the injectors" or fuel pump I wouldn't recommend a standalone is all I was getting at ...

but to OP def study and read read read and take your time with it .... can def mess things up if not done correctly ...

I've got Megasquirt running on my car (KA24E, stock ignition) at about 22 psi and it's excellent.

No hard start issues, timing stays in check, solid afrs. Wired up as per the way DIYautotune's tutorial said, and playing with settings I've managed to get it to be very reliable.

Yes, this is with that stupid Optispark style stock trigger wheel.

Megasquirt 2 with V3 board.
