01 I30 radiator fan problem

I had my thermostat replaced and now when the car comes up to temp the radiator fans run at high speed and never drops back to low speed. Car is running normally otherwise.

Have you checked the relay for the fans?

Checked all the relays as described in the Service Manual troubleshooting section and everything checks out. The next thing I was going to check is the voltage on the relay pin connectors to see if they are correct. The fans do seem to work in low mode when the engine is cold and the a/c is on, but not any other time.

Latest update is that I have been through all the cooling fan troubleshooting procedures in the service manual without finding anything wrong. My only suspects now are the ECTS or the ECM. I guess I'll have to go to the dealership and pay them $115 to scan the ECM.
