How do I achieve 9:1 compression on a VG30DE

Hey, I'm just wondering how to achieve a 9:1 compression on my VG30DE engine. I was told that needed to be done in order to put any turbos onto it.

You would have to bore the cylinder heads out and put different pistons in the engine and even at that idk if you can get it all the way down to 9:1 and for all that hassle it would be much simpler to do a tt swap

if you want a turbo your best bet is to sell the n/a and buy a TT, if you must turbo your car you are far better off just buying the ocmplete front cut

if you want to turbo the n/a you still need lots fo parts from the TT (been covered, search) to boost the stok compression you still need larger injectors, and an aftermarket engine managment to allow you to tune the fuel and timing to work with the higher compression without blowing up

save time and money, sell the n/a and buy a TT

The cylinder heads wouldn't need touched. You would only need to buy pistons that are made to have a 9:1 compression ratio. I've seen them made for the DETT so they would fit the DE just fine.
