Could be that the motor that switches between the hot and cold isn't working, not allowing the cooler air to enter.Or it could be the climate control itself not working properly. I would suggest trying to find a climate control unit first as that's the easiest to get out. If that doesn't work, you may have to replace the motor inside the vents.

Theres a valve at the firewall that allows flow, its in line with the heater core hoses. Check that. If you need any replacement parts email me I have 2 complete heater/climate systems

I read where you stated it repaired itself, but I had a similar problem on a 91 Q45. Turns out the outside temperature sensor was going bad intermittently. When it was reading incorrectly, it thought the outside temp was something stupid like -150 degrees. So using that as a reference point, it had to blow fire out of the vents to get the temperature *up* to 65 deg or whatever I had it set on.Do our cars have a similar setup?

Check that valve, if its stuck it could be the issue or one of the motors on the blower box is fail. Check and tell or email me
