Front 10 Inch Wide Wheel

For all who are wondering, the M35 / M45 does accomadate a 20 inch 10 inch wide wheel with 275/30's in the front with no rubbing. Offset is +43mm.

Just was curious wether or not it would fit. I bought a 20 inch staggered set wich consisted of rear 10 inch wide +43mm offset and front 8.5 inch wide +35mm offset. Front tire 245/35 and rear tire 275/30.

It's interesting to note that the fronts weigh in at 55.5 pounds and the rears weigh in at 59.5 pounds(wheels +tires).

I like the look but would have to buy a new pair of 10 inch wide wheels and 275/30 tires. With a 10 inch wide wheel you need a 275 wide tire otherwise you will be stretched. The great thing about width and size is that they are able to give you more lip.

Rear lip size 4 inches. Front lip size 2.25 inches. The 4 inch lip looks quite a bit nicer. And, it affords you a flush look without a low offset. Remember, factory is +50mm. I personally prefer to stay within 10mm of that.

Like our moderator says, the prefered way to get flush is with a wider wheel.

Ideally I would have forged wheels to get back to around 50 pounds. If I decide to stick with 20's maybe someday...

In my mind the perfect setup would be 20 X 9.5's in the front at +40mm offsets. 20 X 10 in the rears with +43mm offsets. Forged and of high quality of course. Weighing 50 pounds or less(wheel + tire). Big lip, 5 or more spokes including a mesh design like mine.

Then for tires 255/35's in the front and 285/30's in the rears(Michelin PS2's).

That looks nice. You say its a 4" lip but you have one piece wheels. To get a lip like that they concave the inner section for the effect of more lip. Now take a straight edge and run it down the face to the lip and measure. That would be what a forged wheel lip size would be.Even Asanti has done this with the ELT series to give more lip with multi piece wheels. You gain around 2" more of lip.

I would consider 20"x10" all around..... With a stretch on the tires
And the "natural" camber the eibach gives in the front

did you take the car out for a spin? did the tire rub when you turn the steering wheel all the way to either side while driving the car?

the reason I ask is because I have heard other people state that they can't make full turns while driving like they could with the oem set-up. some have gone as far as removing all fender liners (front & rear) to gain some extra room.

Offset has nothing to do with BBK clearance. It's all about spoke shape/height (disc height). For example, my fronts are a very low offset yet will still clear the Akebono calipers.

It also depends on what kind of tire you want to have either stretched or full size. Along with how low you plan on going.

Starting with Ehibach drop, and not looking to go super aggressiveness just nice drop & stance. Until I upgrade to coil overs summer or the following year. I totally understand where you guys are coming from and talking about the wheel the tire and drop, I am just remedial when it comes to figuring out tires, offset, wheel width. Hopefully you guys can steer me in the right direction...

My measuring/estimation to be flush with a 10" wide wheel up front would be offset +35. That might keep a 275 or a 265 so ur not stretched like a 235 some people do. Ud just need a rim manufaturer to make it clear the front/rear calipers.
