sooo, I finally have my car looking pretty decent, and I took some pics earlier this week. just got around to doing some cheap editing so hopefully you guys can enjoy.

be easy, I don't claim that my car is the s***, but I'm trying to make it respectable on the little money that I have to spend on it. It's actually gone through quite a transformation since I bought it, if you wanna see, please visit my humble beginnings of a blog at http://lonelydrift.blogspot.com ...

and i'd appreciate it if those of you on blogspot would add the lonely_drift crew to your homies list!

anyways, here's the lonely coupe!

Are you out of your mind? I had projectors and they were UTTER CRAP as far as their light output. Unless you retrofitted some TSX projectors or something, they're horrible, not to mention a little dangerous. Double/triple projectors work about as well as an s13 dome light for night visibility.

thanks guys!! means a lot to me.

yeah, I'm definitely a slam whore, was trying to make it as low as in my sig!! hahah.

unfortunately, I scrape exhaust on EVERYTHING now. I may have to raise the rear A BIT... like, only an eighth or a quarter of an inch, and I still need to remove the top collar for the spring seat to max out the fronts.

then it should be perfect.

edit: and yes, I would definitely enjoy a pair of bricks, but I really cannot justify spending 300 plus on some headlights when I have a pair already. hah.

we'll see. I'd like to do a kouki front on this car in the future anyways. but thats just a dream right now. car needs so much work.

love the stance... up some camber and you'd be perfect. the little smic vent is cute too.

^^ coo, thanks man. yeah, you'rs no doubt referring to the rears eh? they were actually flush before I rolled and slightly pulled them (I had to, literally would have sliced through my tires in a day) and that way I was able to tuck some decent tire.

I have camber plates too, but I will wait to do the fine tuning untill I remove the front collars and raise the rear just a tad, hopefully it will sit flush all around then! if not there's always spacers. hahah

Digging the smic vent. I love asymmetrics on cars. I used to love the bump that was on one side of my hood whenever I had my eclipse. Your car is coming along nicely. I agree some bricks would set it off great. Keep up the good work.

yeah... I was referring to the rears. imho, I'd rather spend money on rucas than spacers if you wanted more flush in the rears. Plus you'll worry less about having to flip tires to make them last longer... if you know what I mean

but over all.. I'm loving the look man. Probably some oe sideskirts, matching rear valances, and a lip should give it that finishing touch

i LOVE it.

I would leave it as it is, minus the wheels. Some other 16x8 +0 wheels that aren't sportmax would be DOOPPEE.

thanks dude!... but uh... i love my wheels. I don't have a complex about what brand my wheels are or how much they cost... besides, they are literally the best size and best looking wheel with the best lip for the price. they are temporary anyways, so it's all good. you used to have some on your car too ya basta'd. I'm not a sportmax hater or I wouldn't have bought them. different strokes my friend. though I'm sure I will get bored of the gold and spray them all white eventually. you might like that a bit more.

AZ- yeah.... tell me about it.... ugh. I have no idea. fenders were cheesed up to begin with. don't fret.. I have some 20mm m-sport venteds waiting to be fitted and put on. as for the rocker/underside.... I can only assume that the dumbass kid who owned the car before me tried jacking the car up there..... so dumb... either that or he crashed it over a curb trying to do some one tire fires.... either way.... it was dumb.

not sure If theres anything I can do about that... but some sideskirts should do the trick!

I'm with you man. thanks. That's actually what I plan on doing when i get some more money. that way the car will look complete and clean while I start to focus my money on internals and suspension (RUCAs most likely being part of that setup)

pretty much everything right now is temporary. like I said, my goal is a kouki coupe with baller fitment and of course much more power. I'm trying to be patient with it all.

thanks for the love fellas. the sportmaxes are here to stay for a while though. just bought em, and I love em.

Don't get me wrong. I love your car as it is, and I did indeed have those same wheels.

What I was implying is that real wheels would make your car too legit to quit.

I think it'll look better with 205/50's

But yeah I'm liking the look and stance for sure. If you want to keep those wheel I'd suggest that you paint them to be a solid color just so it doesn't scream sportsmax Q__Q;

There is something about a slammed coupe with smallish wheels running lots of camber that makes me knees week! Love it!
