  Switching out the vanity lights

I am a recent owner of an Black Obsidian, Black leather interior EX35. Actually, a couple guys on this site helped me with a prior issue of the maintenance light referencing an issue with the oil (after only owning for 2 days!!).

So, I changed out all my interior lights to white LEDs based on the previous posts here on the forum. But no one ever mentioned the vanity lights! I wanted those to be pure white LEDs as well. I searched the internet and a few sources sell them, but I purchased a pair (w/shipping) for $14 from JDPWR INC. The code of the original factory amber bulbs is TS-14V1CP. If you search this code, you can find the correct white LED.

I also installed those Infiniti branded race pedals that Katsu has on his EX35 in Japan. Katsu just used sticky tape, but I had mine installed using nuts and bolts. I also put 35% tint all around on my EX35 and installed a sunroof wind deflector.

I posted a few pictures below for those wanting images, unfortunately, the night photos are somewhat blurred (sorry about that), but it gives you the visual effect.

Enjoy!

Looks nice, but my roadster has pretty metal pedals as well, and they're damn slippery when my shoes are wet so I will pass.

I purchased the pedals off ebay. They came from a company in Asia. Just do a search for Infiniti EX35 pedals and they will be listed.

As far as the slippage issue...I don't have it. The original covering on the pedals was a black rubber that you can easily pull off. The Infiniti ones have raised rubber grips (the circular portion). I tried it out with wet shoes and I had the same grip force as with the original rubber covering.

The autoshop, Syndicate, in San Deigo also said I wouldn't have any issues with slippage...seems they install these all the time on various vehicles.

Hope this helps...

Once the rubber bits wear down (which they will), which will lead to the metal getting "polished" by your shoe, they will become VERY VERY slippery.
