--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I bought a 2007 Sentra used 26,000 miles and I went to get a 4 wheel alignment, due to a slight pull to the left. I found out that the rear alignment was .43 left rear wheel and .33 right rear wheel. Specs were -1.2 to .20 I also found out that it was a manufacturer defect and Nissan doesn't acknowledge the problem and they do not put out a shim kit to correct it.I ended up going to Napa online and ordered shims one .40 and one .30for $32.00. Install the shims $98.00 and now all four wheels are with in specs. The car drives straight and I am happy. I just don't understand why honda acknowledged their problem with the civc and they put out a shim kit and repaired the affected vehicles. I am also concerned that there are no camber and caster adjustments for the front end.I am not going to buy another nissan because of what I have had to go through. The loss of customers will eventually get them to improve on their lacking customer service.

Yes they do have a shim kit and if your car was under warranty you could have gotten it done for free, mostly.

I was recommended to this site by another Sentra owner. My steering wheel was getting very shaky & starting to pull to the left. I realized that after 25,000 miles, I probably needed to rotate the tires. Nissan said tires had more wear on back than front, so no need to rotate, they would just balance tires. Steering wheel shake improved about 75%, steering wheel still pulling to the left. Wondering if I need to get an alignment?

Is it normal to need a 4-wheel alignment at only 25,000 miles? If so, I am hoping that I won't find that the alignment measurements are off like mentioned by another user, requiring me to get shims installed.

My tire tread wear measures 7/32nds on both front tires, and 6/32nds on both rear tires. If alignment off, would the tread wear this even?
