Genuine Nissan Brakes or OEM Brakes for 2002 MAXIMA?

Hey guys. I recently purchased a set of drilled rotors and thinking of buying Nissan's Brake pad instead of OEM. But I heard that Nissan's Brake pad have wires in them which can damage the rotors quickly. Question is, should I get them or not? If not, what is the best and affordable Brake pads out there today since there are many nowadays? Please Guys.

Nissan pads are OEM.

My personal opinion is drilled rotors dont run that cool anyway
and do wear through brake pads faster-but i dont have them

I have drilled and slotted rotors, with Autozone Ceramic brakes and let me tell you I can stop really really fast.... Old brakes would fade a bit, 2002 Maxima

I tried a set of PowerSlot rotors and Hawk HPS pads. My OEM rotors were shot and could not be turned again, so I tried this set up. I have about 30k miles on them and my front pads are about to need replacing. I don`t know if my m ileage is typical or not. I live in east Tennessee, lots of hills and curves so they take a beating around here. I don`t have any way of measuring the performance of this set up except from the driver`s seat, I feel they stop MUCH better than OEM. Good luck to you.
