QX HID upgrades

Anyone installed 10k hid upgrades in the OEM housing?Heres a link. Pretty cheap. It says they need 35w. Is that how much juice ours take? Are the bulbs easy to replace?http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors..._1371

I don't mean to be rude - but 10k HID's would look absolutely hideous in a QX. In fact they look hideous in pretty much any vehicle - mostly the Civics and Integra's they are installed in. They will look purple.

The stock HID's are probably 4300k - I would suggest you stick with that...

This is my personal opinion. Please don't be offended.

I just put 6000k's in my foglights and they don't perfectly match with the headlights...

I can assure you they don't look dark blue. The pictures the posted on there, and what they actually look like on the street are very different. Next time you see a ricer in his hideous sounding civic, ask him what kelvin his headlights are. I can assure you if they are purple, or close to it, that they are 10k.

The foglights are not HID's so you can't just replace the bulb. You need new ballasts as well. Bear in mind though that they won't run an inline fuse as it is a P&P from your stock wiring harness. I am presently having some issues with mine blowing my 20a fuse - so I will be sure to report back to you with my findings...

Word Yo... Dx3. What do you think about Yellow H3...? I think they just have the reg H3 Yellow or LED style...Do you think its bright enough... if not I was thinking of just upgrading it to the Yellow HID H3....

You can get the H3 in any color - I wouldn't recommend yellow. I would try and match the stock headlights at around 4300k to make it look best...

It doesn't matter how many LED's you get - it won't get anywhere close to the brightness of the HID's.

Ended up with 8000k. They are bright white and way better looking than the stock lights. It was a b**** to tear the front end off the truck. Took about 3 hours but i could do it in one now that I know where the bolts are.

I'd like to get matching fogs, puddle, and license plate lights.

If anyone knows what the bulbs are that go in the headlight housing, let me know. They look so dull compared to the HIDs and I'd like to get them all white if at all possible.
