This is what I figured. I'm sold for sure! Maybe you could upload some pics of it installed to that website or in this thread?johngriff wrote:If you stock braces are not bent, these will still make a big difference...

Being the first person to ever test out this product was awesome. When I first walked up to John and saw the piece, I was clueless as to where the hell it even went. After being told where it went, I thought "THAT's the new suspension piece with all the hype over it?". Little did I know I was in for a big surprise.
The install was insanely simple. It literally took less than 5 minutes to install each side. Any amateur garage mechanic could bolt this up(not to mention John is including a how-to write up). I was skeptic at first since I was just driving home from work, but he assured me the install was easy(and it was).
After the install, there wasn't an actual noticeable difference in the appearance of the car. I mean, this mod doesn't lower it, adjust your toe/camber, space your wheels out...nothing. So, of course at first you're pretty skeptical of it.
I took the car for a quick spin around the block. At the time(this past Friday) I was riding on stock suspension. So, any difference in the suspension was definitely going to be noticeable. After driving the car and taking some sharp corners, the rear end felt so solid after the mod was installed. Even on stock suspension with the massive body roll/flex, this helped keep the rear end planted. I really couldn't believe my mind that something as simple and effective as this was never brought up in the past, but I still had to do some more testing of my own.
I picked up a set of JIC FLT-A2's for my daily on Saturday and decided to really test out the car with these two new suspension mods.
After everything was installed and adjusted, I took the car out for a spin. Knowing that the coilovers alone would make a considerable amount of difference compared to stock, I would still be able to notice the new mod because I've driven my other S13 on the same coilovers for a good year and a half now. My only complaint about my other S13 was the tire hop on hard cornering. Subframe collars only made this issue worse as well(for me at least).
Back to the test drive, I pushed the car HARD through some of the well known Canyons around Socal(I personally do not recommend you do this because of the trouble you can get into. I did this at my own risk for the sake of trying out a new product) and overall was VERY impressed with the new mod.
The rear end stayed planted throughout the entire run. Cornering itself was the best thing about it since you could literally power through it without kicking the back end out.
To sum things up, I am greatly impressed with this new product. Like I first said, I didn't expect such a small piece to make such a noticeable difference, but it did, and I'm glad I have this on my car now.
I'll definitely be ordering a set for my project S13 and for any other S-chassis I own from here on out.
haha, any chance of me being a test-mule for us solid-rear guys?johngriff wrote:Yes sir,
I know exactly what you are talking about. Like I said, theoretically it should make and improvement, but I am not going to say "yes it does" until I test it myself.
