Hey all!

We have worked pretty hard to develop a new suspension part for the S13.

I sent greg a set to test, so hopefully he can get you guys some feedback pretty soon.

Check it out!

I noticed my factory subframe support braces were bent a long time ago but it never occured to me to replace them. After reading crimsonrocket's testimonial on the site, I was convinced to give them a shot. The attention to detail is very impressive, installation looks easy and overall price is fairly cheap.

Payment has been sent. Hope to get it soon.

What if your factory subframe support braces are not bent? Does this product still offer significantly better performance over stock? Looks good though!

I am getting some more feedback from the guys who track tested these over the weekend. Just waiting on them to get back to me.

If you stock braces are not bent, these will still make a big difference. When installed, these bolt in loaded with a slight flex. They take on a pretty serious tension when installed. So even if your stock braces are fine, they are not adding the support these provide, and you will feel a difference.

Great! More s*** I HAVE to buy...

I track my car and both of my stockies are bent, so these should be a perfect prescription. Unfotunately I remember one of the body nuts is stripped for the right side. I'll have to get that taken care of so I can mount these properly and effectively.

I'll be ordering soon

This is what I figured. I'm sold for sure! Maybe you could upload some pics of it installed to that website or in this thread?

This is all in his site:

Being the first person to ever test out this product was awesome. When I first walked up to John and saw the piece, I was clueless as to where the hell it even went. After being told where it went, I thought "THAT's the new suspension piece with all the hype over it?". Little did I know I was in for a big surprise.

The install was insanely simple. It literally took less than 5 minutes to install each side. Any amateur garage mechanic could bolt this up(not to mention John is including a how-to write up). I was skeptic at first since I was just driving home from work, but he assured me the install was easy(and it was).

After the install, there wasn't an actual noticeable difference in the appearance of the car. I mean, this mod doesn't lower it, adjust your toe/camber, space your wheels out...nothing. So, of course at first you're pretty skeptical of it.

I took the car for a quick spin around the block. At the time(this past Friday) I was riding on stock suspension. So, any difference in the suspension was definitely going to be noticeable. After driving the car and taking some sharp corners, the rear end felt so solid after the mod was installed. Even on stock suspension with the massive body roll/flex, this helped keep the rear end planted. I really couldn't believe my mind that something as simple and effective as this was never brought up in the past, but I still had to do some more testing of my own.

I picked up a set of JIC FLT-A2's for my daily on Saturday and decided to really test out the car with these two new suspension mods.

After everything was installed and adjusted, I took the car out for a spin. Knowing that the coilovers alone would make a considerable amount of difference compared to stock, I would still be able to notice the new mod because I've driven my other S13 on the same coilovers for a good year and a half now. My only complaint about my other S13 was the tire hop on hard cornering. Subframe collars only made this issue worse as well(for me at least).

Back to the test drive, I pushed the car HARD through some of the well known Canyons around Socal(I personally do not recommend you do this because of the trouble you can get into. I did this at my own risk for the sake of trying out a new product) and overall was VERY impressed with the new mod.

The rear end stayed planted throughout the entire run. Cornering itself was the best thing about it since you could literally power through it without kicking the back end out.

To sum things up, I am greatly impressed with this new product. Like I first said, I didn't expect such a small piece to make such a noticeable difference, but it did, and I'm glad I have this on my car now.

I'll definitely be ordering a set for my project S13 and for any other S-chassis I own from here on out.

I just got a few more testimonials back from the track guys, and have updated the site, easy to find on the left side navigation bar.

These are an awesome and easy upgrade! The new must have for 2009!

Sweet! Thank you for the order!

If you are going to make your own, just make sure you choose your material carefully. We thought about using barstock, but decided against it because it didn't fit our maximized specifications.

But you have to figure that your time is worth something, sourcing material, cutting, measuring, fabricating etc etc... we are pricing this inline so that its easier for you to get it in the mail, and install it quickly.

well it's cheaper for you guys to get a sheet and water jet 20+ pieces per sheet, than to get bar stock. That's understandable.

Anyone can get a 2 ft length of bar stock in similar demensions for no more than $10. But your right a lot of people aren't mechanically inclined to fabricate...

I like what you got and the nice laser etch/ing is sweet too!

Again, the bar stock is still not the most effective way, just because of the way this works. There is some science behind this, and I am willing to take the pepsi challenge against a home fab any time.

so. those of us who have manly SOLID Parts Shop Max subframe mounts... would not benefit as i see it, right? this is made to eliminate the subframe from shifting.... but our subframe is 1/2" higher than stock and bolted directly against the unibody.

IF this item would fit with those criteria, i'd buy some for the eyecandy, but with the 1/2" height difference... and the fact that i'd have NO flex back there anyway...

well you tell me

They will fit with the height difference.

I really need to draw a diagram on how this ads more stability.

If you looked at the center of the wheel from the side as the point of a lever that is swinging with force (the subframe) this is like tying down the handle of the lever.

Of course, I am waiting on some feedback from people with solid subframe mounts. I know that if you have collars, you will see a huge improvement.

If you have wheel hop, you will see a huge improvement.

Yes sir,

I know exactly what you are talking about. Like I said, theoretically it should make and improvement, but I am not going to say "yes it does" until I test it myself.

I should get feedback pretty soon from someone with solid mounts who have purchased... so that is what I am hoping for.

We gave allot of free sets out, so the demo period is over.

Payment sent yo!

I have collars and noticed some significant wheel hop during my last straight line launch, so hopefully these will help with that. Not to mention I'm doing a drift event soon, wheel hop is unacceptable!
