with what i've found out so far it seems the n60 maxima maf is the same or close to a rb20 maf correct? is it a plug and play thing or do i need to wire it differently and also will the car run ok with that or will i need the ecu to be adjusted for it, hopefully it won;t cause i just would like to get the swap started up this weekend and run it stock for a few weeks and work out issues before i go into upgrades. thanks for any help guys

I am wondering the same thing for a 25?

anyone?

I used the search too, and several other forums, the info was...sketchy at best.

I believe the maxima maf is good for some where in the mid 300whp range. I'll see if I can confirm that.

How much exactly is the stock j60 good for? I though it was maxing out right at 300whp but I'm not exactly sure.

i bought a maxima maf to use on my truck from info saying it was the same but it's not. I ended up just buying the right one for the rb20 since the voltage that the maxima maf used is different than the rb20 maf. The rb20 maf should be 1.10volts at idle give or take a lil and from what i remember the maxima one was reading higher than that. I still have it and i can check it to make sure if anyone really wants to know the exact voltage.

I have the same question, what needs to be done to make this work, I have an N60 and no maf came with my swap, I will be using turbo Xs dtec to fine tune anything that needs to be changed, but is there a simple fix? maybe throwing a resistor inline or something? any help would be appreciated! trying to start my rb this weekend

the n60/e60/e61 maf are all interchangable...they should work fine on the 20 without an safc or remap.

I have to recant my statement of my rb running fine with the n60... it worked ok for starting the car, but after that I was stuck in limp mode. Car was running rich and i had fuel cut down low. I just bought a stock maf and I am hoping that this will fix it, my maf was reading in the 4.4 v range and if the stock is supposed to be in the 1 v range i am betting that could cause problems.

Follow up:

THE N60 MAF DOES NOT WORK WITH RB25DET.

I just put one on mine and it would not rev past around 3k rpms.
