There is a picture of the block. If you can see anything other than the obvious stuff(alternator, p/s pump, water pump pulley) that i would need please let me know.

wire harness, ecu, custom mounts, custom drive shaft, the list can go on. Its not a cheap swap at all no offense but at 17 I know I wouldn't have to the money to finish it

get an late 04 Z ecu and have it reflashed with the bcm/nats and other sensors turned off and its pretty straight forward to install.

Wait wait... that works? People have been pulling their hair out trying to figure out how to install a VQ35 while retaining VTC and eliminating NATS and the answer is just as simple as reflashing your ECU?! I had assumed someone had already tried that and failed, so some super elaborate hax would be required... If this works... I'm buying a Quest motor asap...

Kinda funny, my 260 whp VQ 240sx gets me in faaaar More trouble than my 490whp SR 240 ever did. as far as getting a feel for what ur getting into, I'd start here http://forums.nicoclub.com/zerothread?id=207033 lot more fab involved than u might think. Hope u have access to a Tig or Mig welder, a FSM, and a lot of time to sort through the wiring. Not trying to discourage u tho, g/l.

Thank you for your dedication to this cause! I think the s-chassis community owes a debt of gratitude to you and the other guys putting in the hard work to simplify this for the rest of us...

Irax....where you really able to just reflash the ecu and then splice in the 240 harness?

I didn't do it because i got it to run without having to need to. but technosquare/jwt/uprev offer that kind of service for the 350z ecu and it is super easy to splice into the 240sx harness.
