I have bad allergies to pollens, dust, molds, animal dander, particulates...things of that nature and so I want something that will clean my bedroom. Preferably a filterless one so I don't have to keep buying new filters all the time....
Anyone have any experience with:

or do you guys have any other suggestions? I'm all ears
I've had this one in my house since 1997

Prior to that I had a Sears unit.
I've found that the whole House Electronic Precipators installed in the central heating and A/C systems work well. When cleaning the filters it is amazing the black crud that is attracted to the cells. You can see this if you still have a picture tube TV & wipe the screen. Your paper towel will turn black because the same principal of a high voltage electric charge attracts dirt particles in the air to the face of the tube. I suppose individual room units are ok but I have no experience with them.
