Tip For powersteering problems..

A while ago i had a Power steering problem. the steering would stiffin up while turning and loosen up randomly.. no one could figure it out... then someone told me to check my Steering coloum u bolt... Because time to time they get rusty and cause that problem.. Soo i sprayed it with A can of WD40 and that fixed the problem right away...(after i had already replaced my pump)

Soo Hopefully this will help someone.. and save them some time and a headache

WD40, being hygroscopic, will not be a long term lubrication solution.

Funny... your Q is at about 200k, same as mine when it failed. Brian is right... WD40 is a good diagnostic tool to get you by until the new one shows up.

It amazes me how well that u-joint holds up given it's proximity to the exhaust manifold.

I think you're the second NICO Q owner that has replaced one of these, so it's not a really common problem - but it's definintely worth checking if you have p/s issues.

Thanks DudeThe lights are 10000k H.I.D.'s u can get them on Ebay or craigslist.. there is a reflecter in the headlight that i bent back soo that it would be brighter and not blocked by it..

the rims are 18's with 245 35 ZR18 at the front and 275 35 ZR18 at the back.. the rims are From the 07 maxima se.. i put infiniti caps on them
