I visited Spices and More, a tiny Indian market in a strip mall nearby. Tried some soda that traveled a long way.

Limca tasted like a homemade bubbly lemonade. Its almost syruppy. It has no juice in it at all."Thums Up" [spelled wrong on purpose] tasted like RC and Pepsi mixed together. It didn't have the smoothness of sugar-based Coca Cola and had the lower carbonation of Pepsi. The finish was a little tart because it used corn syrup.Labels say "Made In India". The bottles in Mexico, SE Asia, and most other foreign markets get returned for a refund and then are washed and reused. You can tell from the wear on the bottles that these have previously nourished millions of Indians.

This ice cream product tasted like a caramel ice cream. It actually came from New Jersey.

The LCD monitor came from Circuit City, as evidenced by the checkout stand label on the monitor.

Yeah my little brother loves Limca. He always gets a bottle when we go to the India Bazaar here. I like Mazaa fruit juice, especially the mango flavored one.

MOAR! That stuff with the marble in it is strange (third from right). With the bottle upside down, nothing comes out.

I've had that before, imo it kinda tastes like bland sprite.

Yeah, or any international market. It was $1.30.

I would also describe it as bland sprite. Sprite with less bite.

I dont like most international stuff, as it TYPICALLY has more "flavor" than I like... im a fussy eater, but this Israeli snack is ACES!

Bamba is my #1 snack.. its like a cheese puff, but peanut butter....What's interesting about bamba is that when you put it on your tongue, there's not a lot of taste off the bat. However, as soon as you bite into it(or allow your saliva to dissolve it a bit), there's a peanut butter explosion -- it's like licking up a dollop of peanut butter and avoiding the stickiness. What's better -- it's all-natural. Bamba's list of ingredients is: peanuts (49%), corn, vegetable oil, and salt.

My college has Fanta in all the pop machines. I've never had it though. I only see my Spanish friends drink it, and they say it's an immigrant thing.

Jarritos is good stuff. When I was a kid, I used to ride my bike to the grocery store across down every saturday and buy a couple bottles. Mango is probably my favorite. Mmmm, mango.

How's the guarana drink in the green can?

Pretty darn smooth. Might be too sweet for some, but its well-carbonated and finishes clean. No bitter aftertaste. The guarana flavor is subtle.

Haha just realized you have the Hapi Mandarin juice. How did you like it?

Another company makes a similar drink, including a grape juice that has real grapes in it. Ever tried it?

Fanta is all over the 'states. It tastes like any other artificially-flavored fruit soda. Doesn't seem too specific to any group around here.

I'm glad this store is somewhat of a drive, otherwise I'd blow $200 there on drinks and snacks.

Today I went down the British and Danish aisles. Ben Shaws is a sparkling lemonade and Tango is basically a diet soda.

Aloe has floating bits of aloe vera in it.

ITS YOGU TIME! - Delicious flavored milk with a bit of tartness.

Orange pocky rules school.

OK.

I had the same Technics unit years ago. I enjoyed your thread on that.

This thread is not as good.
