Figured many of you would enjoy seeing this build.

Going to build my personal vert since the company (Raw Brokerage) doesn't have the budget this year to build a car.

So building this at home and looking to make an ultimate street car/daily driver that can be at home on the track if it pleases.

enjoy

The journey begins...

Everything nice and straight...

Cleaned the interior area up

Radiator support removal

more spot welds

Support off

removal of random engine bay brackets

Setting up the a template for measurements for new fender wells...

Dropped the subframe

Thanks to a lovely NICO write up, the shell is now on a chassis cart built from supplies picked up from Lowes

Starting to cut the front fenders out.

For the motor it has to be a RB :D Factory ITB manifold assembly

External oil drain from the head to the sump, -12AN return

And you thought your girlfriend was complicated.

Installed some goodies on the motor... HKS Timing belt and Cam Gears

So finally got the rims that will be going on the vert...

So the 255 needed a bit of stretching, hope everyone approves

more cutting. took it to the chassis rail.

Forgot to take a shot with the tower cut out but here is everything coming together to make templates and such for the new body...

what are your plans for getting rid of the chassis flex or at least lessing the the amount of chassis flex?

I'm considering using 2 of the following 3 options:

1) High Density Chassis Foam2) Stitch weld the seams3) Roll cage the rear with low door bars to the front

There will be various braces I'll fab up for the corners and nicks.

The foam works wonders.. my friend has a 700hp 1jz in his coupe and he put the foam in frame rails.. its good stuff..

Im glad you already have considered stuff.. you didnt say anything, i was wondernig there for a bit.

Don't worry, pretty much everything has been planned out.
