Some douche bag in a brand new 335i rolled up to me in a traffic light while i was at a stop. Honked his horn and asked me in a funny way "How much horsepower do you have in that cheap piece of crap"? I just smiled at him and said not enough. Then he was laughing and he said he could buy 2 350z's for the price of his 335i and i just said good for him. Light turns green and he goes for it. then I just smoke him looking cute in my rear view then I just flicked him off on my way to the freeway. Talk about bragger as I say how many BMW's are out there? Yeah they are so common anyways

A single driver of ______ (fill in the blank with whatever car you decide to rip on) is no more representative of the entire group than say, Richie is, for 350Z drivers. Think about that for a while before you post that one random individual represents everyone.

Oh, and referring to yourself as "looking cute" makes you sound like you're out cruising on the dl. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Next we'll be reading that you're hooked on Bravo!, subscribing to Details magazine, going to gallery openings and wine tasters - slippery slope there. Just thought you should know.

Yeah, like this guy, right? PS: He's an "old guy" too, according to some of your posts he shouldn't even be driving.

Most BMW's will still be rolling along when a lot of the Nissans here long since been put out to pasture (all other things being equal).

Good thing you beat that mo-fo! My friend has a 335i, I gotta say, that thing is pretty quick. But it's still not a Z.

BMW's are everywhere!

It's a love hate for those racing trannies... cool movie. Cept. I bet you can make a Z just as fast if you put the same money into it. No doubt about it.

A 2008 stock 335i (not an M series) produces 300 HP. I've read that BMW measures at the wheels, not the crank. With an experienced driver that car has achieved a 0 to 60 mph in just under 5 seconds. That’s faster than a stock 2008 Z Nismo which typically clocks about 5.1 secs. Good job winning the race but IMO you got lucky.

One of my best friends has a BMW 3-series, and he's probably the nicest guy you'll ever meet.

Stop stereo-typing cars with people. I'm pretty sure I can show you a great deal of d-bags that drive your beloved Z.

I hope they do something about the suspension before they make a run - it looks to be sitting mighty low. And that dip & sudden rise between Eiskurve and Pflanzgarten can tear the holy hell out of an underbody and I'd shed a tear if something happened to that front splitter.

Well I dont know what year your car is or your mods if any, but if you have a stock Z you could not have possibly beat this car. Unless the guy in the BMW is paraplegic,

The reason I know this is because when I had about 4k miles on my car a buddy I play golf with works at the local BMW dealership and he took a demo home and we raced them. 3 times and he whipped me every time. 2 of the 3 I did not miss a beat and he always got the launch on me with an auto-tragic. He got me by about 3/4 of a car twice and that was the closest I could catch him in 1/4 mile spot.

As Badger was saying and when I got home pissed off I looked up the Car and Driver times and they showed 4.9 0-60. Z's do not do that stock I dont care who's driving. So I doubt you got far enough ahead to see him in your rear view. But a "cute" story nontheless.

Idon't know if you have ever seen a race car. But you could jump up and down on that front splitter from 9-5PM and you couldn't scratch it. It's as solid as a peice of titanium.

Hmm.. that's a bit more money spent than bmw shown in the video.

Then again wonder why SuperGT uses entire different track/event than the driving the ring. The main ring is a awesome simulation to public roads... go figure.

Actually in my city the Bimmers are a snob mobile. Everyone who owns one thinks they are gods gift to earth while they are in the bimmer. They think they are far more superior to the rest of the world. So to me, because of how it is here, i see what he is saying and where he is coming from. Look at the guy on the girl show "the hills" that drives that sick as bimmer, he's very well classified as a douche bag, snobby clown. And for the record anything 3 series BMW post 2005 is junk, from all the forums i recently read - to help my buddy with his GF's purchase of a 2008 328i without consulting him first... Damn things been in the shop about half the time she's owned it (no exaggeration probably more)...

edit: which is why i tell everyone to buy a Cadillac or a Lexus, both built better and you are not a douche by default. Plus smart people do their research and end up buying Cadi's or Lexi's or Audi's or Infiniti's....

That's exactly what I was thinking. The 335i is a very fast car. The twin-turbo design of the 6 cylinder engine is quite impressive and gives great off-the-line acceleration. I've been whooped by a 135i recently, but granted, I own a roadster and am much heavier.

The 3,0 bi-turbo engine in the 335i (and 135i) has 306bhp and generally beats a stock 350z.

yup... i was thinking the same thing but didn't bother to post.

was just waiting for some people like you who have same

opinion as i do haha. when i first read this i was like hmmm

i'm pretty sure 335's are VERY quick. twin turbo gives them

GREAT torque (300) and i'm pretty sure Z's can't "smoke"

them.

maybe this dude is making sh*t up or saw 328 and told

him self it was 335. single and dual exit exhaust should

give it away though

Someone should e-mail Nissan...

Dear Nissan,I believe my car (2004 350Z) is do for a recall of some sort. Now i am not quite sure what is causing the problem, but i know whats wrong for sure. I am lacking horse power and torque. The reason i am sure of this is because today, on my way home from the grocery store i saw a middle aged woman with 3 kids in the car on the way home from soccer practice in the lane next to me. She was driving a 2008 BMW 335i. She signaled me to race at the light. She beat the crap out of me with 3 kids in the car. It was embarrassing, and like a bad dream. At each light through town she kept pwning me. Her children laughed at me. I felt so ashamed, there fore i ask you Nissan, give me some HP, and give me some torque.

Sincerely Ryan P. Messmer

Wow Ry you wont believe this I sent an email like that yesterday to my local Nissan dealership with a copy to all other dealerships around here.

1 Responded to me: It said "We apologize for your inconvenience but we do not condone racing on public streets. But just for your added benefit we have solved your issue. And in bold letters they put:

GT-R . . . I was speechless. So I replied to this punk and said:

I am glad to be an American I am gonna trade this heavy turd in on a Z06. Thanks for your time and effort.Chad
