A single driver of ______ (fill in the blank with whatever car you decide to rip on) is no more representative of the entire group than say, Richie is, for 350Z drivers. Think about that for a while before you post that one random individual represents everyone.1stoptuner wrote:Some douche bag in a brand new 335i rolled up to me in a traffic light while i was at a stop. Honked his horn and asked me in a funny way "How much horsepower do you have in that cheap piece of crap"? I just smiled at him and said not enough. Then he was laughing and he said he could buy 2 350z's for the price of his 335i and i just said good for him. Light turns green and he goes for it. then I just smoke him looking cute in my rear view then I just flicked him off on my way to the freeway. Talk about bragger as I say how many BMW's are out there? Yeah they are so common anyways
Yeah, like this guy, right? PS: He's an "old guy" too, according to some of your posts he shouldn't even be driving.R350Zz33 wrote:They all look the same. and we all know beamer drivers are class A DOUCHEBAG's
One of my best friends has a BMW 3-series, and he's probably the nicest guy you'll ever meet.R350Zz33 wrote:They all look the same. and we all know beamer drivers are class A DOUCHEBAG's
I hope they do something about the suspension before they make a run - it looks to be sitting mighty low. And that dip & sudden rise between Eiskurve and Pflanzgarten can tear the holy hell out of an underbody and I'd shed a tear if something happened to that front splitter.JETPILOT wrote:Just as fast? Its still a BMW, man-cub.R350Zz33 wrote:well thats an M its like a whole-nother animal.
Hmm.. that's a bit more money spent than bmw shown in the video.JETPILOT wrote:Just as fast? The Super GT 500 Xanavi Z will leave that M3 far behind!
Then again wonder why SuperGT uses entire different track/event than the driving the ring. The main ring is a awesome simulation to public roads... go figure.BusyBadger wrote:I hope they do something about the suspension before they make a run - it looks to be sitting mighty low. Actually in my city the Bimmers are a snob mobile. Everyone who owns one thinks they are gods gift to earth while they are in the bimmer. They think they are far more superior to the rest of the world. So to me, because of how it is here, i see what he is saying and where he is coming from. Look at the guy on the girl show "the hills" that drives that sick as bimmer, he's very well classified as a douche bag, snobby clown. And for the record anything 3 series BMW post 2005 is junk, from all the forums i recently read - to help my buddy with his GF's purchase of a 2008 328i without consulting him first... Damn things been in the shop about half the time she's owned it (no exaggeration probably more)...BusyBadger wrote:

That's exactly what I was thinking. The 335i is a very fast car. The twin-turbo design of the 6 cylinder engine is quite impressive and gives great off-the-line acceleration. I've been whooped by a 135i recently, but granted, I own a roadster and am much heavier.BlackSmoke wrote:Well I dont know what year your car is or your mods if any, but if you have a stock Z you could not have possibly beat this car. Unless the guy in the BMW is paraplegic,
The reason I know this is because when I had about 4k miles on my car a buddy I play golf with works at the local BMW dealership and he took a demo home and we raced them. 3 times and he whipped me every time. 2 of the 3 I did not miss a beat and he always got the launch on me with an auto-tragic. He got me by about 3/4 of a car twice and that was the closest I could catch him in 1/4 mile spot.
As Badger was saying and when I got home pissed off I looked up the Car and Driver times and they showed 4.9 0-60. Z's do not do that stock I dont care who's driving. So I doubt you got far enough ahead to see him in your rear view. But a "cute" story nontheless.
that's what i was thinking. i thought the newer bimmers were pretty quick. still a good story and i'm glad you beat that *******. can't believe people can be so rude.spitalul2bad wrote:

The 3,0 bi-turbo engine in the 335i (and 135i) has 306bhp and generally beats a stock 350z.
no prob, bob.BlackSmoke wrote:Thanks JDM and spitalul2bad I was wondering if anyone was going to back me up on this.
