I don't like the bronze wheel on the black Z, and the second wheel has a fugly lip to it...

I definitely like the Torque better. I usually don't like anything you guys (not just Z owners, all NICO members) put up because they generally don't go well with the car, but I think the Torque works well. Kind of adds some sharpness to a curvy car.

I agree the first set has more class and style. but i'm impressed by the amount of rubber the second set has on it. the back tire is meaty!

I'd get the first type in gunmetal color. But that's just me. I have a black roadster and I wouldn't get the black one.

The second choice is too... dull.

I have a set of Rota Boost wheels for sale in Hyper Black. The fronts are new and the rears are used (300mi). 18X9 +30 and 18X10 +35 $800 shipped. The last 3 pics are of the ADVAN RGII. This Rota is the same exact wheel.

What type of tires do you got on them? If I sell my 06 wheels then I will pick these up. I have been looking at getting some Rota wheels.

The fronts are new and never mounted. The rears had 305/35/18 tires and were used for about 300mi. I needed a rear wheel with these sizes and offsets. I ordered a set of ADVANS from Japan but they have yet to arrive and it has been over 3 mo. So I bought these til my ADVAN's come in. So even though I only needed the 2 rear wheels I bought the whole set for easier resale. The rear tires have been removed and are not for sale.

I'm definitely interested in those wheels. Will those fit the Z with no mods? How would those look on the stock height Jet?

$800 for the complete set? If so, that's a heck of a deal

Thanks!

Hi Albert,

I think they are roughly the same offsets as the NISMO Z wheels. The NISMO fronts are 9" +30 offset, and the rear NISMO wheels are 10" +30 offset. These rears are 10" +35. 5mm less than the NIMSO ones. You could just get a 5mm spacer for the back if 5mm bothered you. They will look fine with the stock height. Afterall most Z's come with 17's or 18's.

I made a mistake and posted pics of the Gumetal wheels. I switched the pics to Hyper Black.

I'm really interested in these, I have a few expenses coming up in the next few months that I need to take care of, one of which is going on my vacation. As soon as I see how much money I will have after my vacation, I will let you know.

As for the offsets, excuse my ignorance, but I have no idea how 5mm will look or affect anything. I know you explained it to me before, but I'm not sure what that is. Anyways, i'll get back to you, if they are sold, my loss.

Thank you for taking the time to clear things up for me.

Albert

**EDIT** I was just reading some of the posts where you talk about offsets, so disregard the part about offsets.

It's an exact copy of the wheel by Rota. The Rota wheel is cast and the ADVAN wheel is M.A.T.

The ADVAN wheel is alot lighter than the Rota but is 3 times as expensive.

These are sold anyways. But there is nothing wrong with Rota wheels especially for the price. I have used Rotas on the track and so have alot of people with no ill effects.

Now your going to see the JDM wheel whores post pics of failed Rota's and make comments like "get the real deal", or "friends don't let friends roll on Rota's" etc. All of the people who will make those comments are brand whores who's cars never see the track.

Are they ripping off ADVAN's designs? YES. Is it right? I'm, not wealthy enough to ponder such a question.

My response... bring it to the track we can sort everything out there!

I put the Rotas on my car last night, the only mod you'll need is tuner lugs, regular lugs will thread on, but there isn't enough room to get a socket on them and torque them down.
will post pics later

You can't deny they made some bad wheels. Well the ones that cracked or warped were supposudly all made at the same time and accredited to a bad batch or something like that. It's still a little un setteling. That said I would go with the first version the kai's rip offs as the te37 knock offs dont look good at all imo.

there is nothing wrong with 5 spokes. Easy to clean and go with anything.

Which ever wheel you can get with one bolt pattern. I don't like wheels with dual bolt patterns, unless it can be covered by a cap.

I like those boost as well. Clean and classy.

Its all good man, none taken. I got a good deal on them, I hardly drive the car. The wheels were bought just to get around on because the stock wheels have R comps on them.
