New features seem to be focused on a better home screen layout and a personally customized avatar. Looks pretty cool IMO, as long as they don't raise the price of Live itself. Rumors say it's supposed to be launched in November, and definately before Chistmas.

I've been looking forward to this for a while. Biggest thing I'm excited for is the Netflix partnership. It's about damn time someone got a decent streaming media rental system going. As soon as this XBL update hits I'm going to be signing up for Netflix.

I actually saw this in person last week at a friend's house (He works for a MS company). Its sweet. Pretty intuitive and it includes a mini "blade" structure for those who still prefer the old layout. It had a few bugs, but its not the release build either. The Netflix function works beautifully. I have a couple of trial memebership cards for Netflix waiting for this already... =)
