wut up guys...

I recently bought a pignose hatch with a stock ka(E) and well its smoking. We changed the valve seals, oil pressure switch, oil, fuel filter, spark plugs, valve cover gasket and i just bought the o2 sensor and got some injectors, now my question is if none of these things have fixed the problem, what can the problem be?(btw it smells like gas)

Qship's diagnosis, unfortuneatly, may prove to be true. I hear he's clairvoyant,(can troubleshoot problems over vast distances, sight unseen. Probably knows your middle name too.) But, just in case he's wrong,(he's never wrong)you could answer your own question(s) by doing a little preliminary troubleshooting of your own by taking a compression test, reading the plugs, checking your pcv system, etc. Your compression, per each cylinder, should have (min) 120 lbs, with some consistency(10, maybe 15 lbs between the highest and lowest cyl. reading) Your plugs, assuming they're not new, should be of a "light tanish" white color. Check gap for consistency and spec's. Darker colors are not what you want to find. (black, rich, to much gas~black/brown, oil in combustion chamber (rings, maybe valve guides)~wet black/brown, oil is saturating your combustion chamber. (not good !) If you find your pcv valve clogged or excessively wet your rings are passing some of your compression (that's supposed to stay in the cylinder) down into the lower crankcase area causing increased pressure. This is where your pcv system is supposed to vent this oil fogged air back to the intake to be burned in the cylinders These basic steps should tell you what you want to know. (or, perhaps, what.............you don't want to know.) But, qship, I don't know, ....the man's uncanny !! How does he do it ? Good luck.

check timing and do a leak down. the engine will tell you why its smoking from there
