My name is Landin Williams, and I am with Turn 10 Studios/Microsoft, the folks working on the Forza franchise. I have recently been in contact with the webmaster regarding some of our community ideas, but I also wanted to get an idea of who is playing Forza 2!

I want to connect with some of the players on this forum to get some feedback about the game and of course to gift you some cool cars

Feel free to post your Xbox LIVE gamertag and I will gift over some of our exclusive cars.

There are a few other cool events and racing series that may be of interest to any Forza 2 players, but first I wanted to see if any exist here!

i would like to say that i really love the Forza franchise, even more so then the Gran Turismo franchise now, being that i was a gran turismo fanboy from the beginning. I bought forza 2 when it released and still cant stop playing it. i cant wait for the next Forza to come out.

Silvia: That's cool I know the leader of Tribal Boyz actually! I myself am a really big drift fan, and have been drifting since Forza 1 with my crew Project Blackjack! Definitely post up your new car...I'd love to check it out!

Now that I know some Forza players are around here at Nico...would anyone be interested in forming a Nico Race team to take on teams from other automotive communities?

All you would need to do to form a team is find a group of at least 3 racers interested in participating. It seems like you are super active on Forza, so you should just appoint yourself team manager

Once we have a list of Nico racers I can work with you on setting up a challenge against one of the other automotive communities participating. Unless of course there is a rival board that you would like to challenge...

I was generally happy with DLC. Like most people not every car I wanted to see got in there *cough* new GT-R *cough*, but I still enjoyed all the DLC offered. A few pics before I go.

I'd be interested to see some drift events. Formally organized with people looking over the replays to award points. Sort of like a Forza 2 Formula Drift series.

I love Forza. I cant wait for another to hit. Forza 2 is one of those games that never really gets dull.

I am mostly a Time Attack guy. The next Forza could really use some cool replay features. Weather effects(rain, snow),different time of day..(at night ) I wished Forza 2 had the road tracks and downhills stages that Forza had. It would also be cool to have some street racing with traffic with the good ol circuit racing.

even a story couldn't hurt. Imagine each competitor with it's own driving habbits and attitude.

...give us the ability to turn on our headlights and hazrads...it would be a cool addition when playing multiplayer

I'd like to see a grag track. Even if only online. With the amount of muscle ars on the list, I think it would be nice to pitthem in the 1/4 mile.

Who's interested in forming a Nico Race team? Seems like there are plenty of Forza 2 players in here, and the more racers you have the better!

A question for Landin. Would having DLC and with XboxLIVE down cause me to get an error when trying to start up Forza 2? It's a message that reads, "This profile has downloadable content that cannot be found. Please select another profile." I am also getting an error in Halo 3 that says my films cannot be found or have been corrupted.

Didnt know if this was all related to the XBL outage and seeing if I was the only one with this issue.

this happened to me when i sent in my 360 and got a new one back. apparently, from what i was told, is that is you recover your GT onto a new 360 or move your HDD from one 360 to another this happens.

Ok great so I have a NICO team down on my list. The track and class settings will be posted once the challenge is set. I am thinking we will keep it to A class. Fast enough to allow some tuning, but still some competitive racing.

Silvia: I am going to appoint you the NICO team leader. You will need 3 racers to compete so post in here with your team roster when its organized. How does Friday sound to run the first race?

One thing I'd love to see in Forza would be an in car view with the dash and steering wheel and everything like GT5P.

Also a drift mode would be nice.
