Dragon is the name of the Torque Converter sold by Precision Industries. They call their import TCs the "Dragon" because it sounds better than the "Turtle".unknown007 wrote:

You can get the ring and pinion set from the dealer or you can get it out of a Z32 300zx NA diff. The hard part will be having the ring gear spacer machined for the Q45 diff and also locating the longer bolts that are needed. Plus, you need to set up the backlash and preload properly.Kricket wrote: Does someone make a ring and pinion set in a 4:11 for a G50?Thought I read that somewhere. Thanks guys for helpful info.

3.694/3.538= 1.044........................................5% higher 1st and 2nd gears in 90-93 transmission
Im confused. If you take out the factory 3.56's, and put in 3.69's, how does that = or almost = putting 4.08's in?Q45tech wrote:A 97-01 3.694 diff plus a 90-93 transmission can almost emmulate a 4.083 diff without the serious MPG decreases associated with having the 15.4% higher gear in 3rd and 4th. You are missing the different first and second gear ratios on the early Q45.1QIKQ45 wrote:
