**FULLY REVISED TO MEET FORUM GUIDELINES**The time has finally come for me to say goodbye to my Z...BCs300z...and move on.
As much as I love this car, I can't bear to see it spend another year plus, soley as a garage queen.
Too many military deployments and other family responsibilities have paved the way for me to part with the Z. Perhaps in another few years when things calm down...I can get back into the Z scene again.
Buy it now price is $15.5K. Please see the last link in this ad for auction details.
-----------------------------
- After nearly 8 years of ownership, I have reached a point where it is just simply time to move on. Between having 3 children and being deployed multiple times in the call of duty, I just have no more time for the Z. It has unfortunately become completely impractical to hold on to.
- Don't let the mileage fool you, this Z has been the "Poster Child" for Garage Queens everywhere. I bought this Z with 192K on it, and in 8 years have only put 26K on it. About 10K of that was put on in the first 2 years of owning it. Another 13-14K was accrued on the Autobahns in Germany and Belgium during the 3 years I spent there. And the remaining 2-3K has been in the last 2 1/2 years going to different events and meetings.
- This Z car is the product of my imagination and determination. Meticulous attention has been paid to every little detail surrounding this car. Some may call it a form of therapy...but this Z has been carefully and patently pieced together with nothing more than perfection in mind.
- About 3 years ago, I hired a friend to paint the car. He stripped it down, smoothed out any dings necessary, primed and prepped the car...then left. And abandoned the project. Since that time, I moved back to the US from Europe, and been sent to war. Time and priority have not been on the side of finalizing the paint job. Hence the primer black that it is in now. I could very easily just take it down the street to MAACO for a cheap coat before listing...but I would not do that to this car. Besides, it has been holding it's own regardless.
- The engine was just built last year...from the ground, up! Not because the car needed it...but because I did. To feed the addiction, I built another engine.

- I have also installed things on this Z that can't even be found on US Z32's. One such example is the addition of a Rear Differential Cooler System, found on Euro Spec Z's to combat high, AutoBahn speeds.

- About 4 years ago, I decided to install a Car-Puter into the Z. Fully integrated into the consult port and the car's sound system, this computer provides the driver with a phenominal driving experience and keeps them completely in tune with the engine. All consult interface programs are being left installed, as well as the WiFi capabilities.

- This summer I planned to swap out the transmission, rear diff, axles, and subframe. I planned to do so, to simply cut down more age on the car, and strengthen the drivetrain. I am changing out the TT subframe with an NA subframe, to be able to install rear connecting rods...in leu of the HICAS Elimination. Again...this is all just for personal preference. The current transmission does have a small grind getting into 4th (when done so quickly), and is the reason for it's replacement. I planned to then rebuild the old tranny. However, I have been again called away and cannot perform the swaps. But because I have no use for all the items that I have obtained for the change-out...they are being included with the car.
Extras include in auction:
5-speed tranny (42k miles) - USDM
Rear Diff and Axles (28k miles) - JDM
NA Subframe (60k miles) - USDM<
- The car has absolutely no body damaging rust what-so-ever. It has been garage kept for the entire time its been with me. An extremely minute amount of surface rust has developed in the hatch area just above the tail lights, where the primer is thin on the edge of the metal. This is easily removed with a wire brush. It is normal and absolutely nothing of concern and only lingers due to the primered state.
Please visit my Photo Album for more pictures of this car. OVER 65 PICS IN ALL!http://webpages.charter.net/carderbw/ForSale.html
- Payment Options: Paypal or Cash in Person. Other payment options may be available, but only on a case by case basis. No personal checks, money orders, or cashiers checks will be accepted.
- Shipping: Shipping will be at buyers expense. In Person pick-up is also accepted. In the event that car is to be shipped, I do know a couple carriers in the area that I can recomend and assist in arranging.
- If you have any questions... PLEASE don't hesitate to let me know. I am more than willing to answer any questions and will post Q&A on this listing for others to see.
Thanks for viewing my auction. I truly hope that you are the one that can give this Z a good home and a driver that can stretch her legs often...instead of living out her days as a Garage Queen.
