ka24de sat for over a year

so I just bought a ka24de and tranny for my 240sx and the guy told me it hadn't been started in over a year. its got a new clutch flywheel and different cams it turns over by hand so I know its not seized what should I do before changing the oil and starting it? and what are some problems that i could see from the motor not being ran in so long.

You might be looking at a list of things, so here it goes. Old oil, mabey rusted spark plugs and wires and cap and rotor. Old coolant, dirty gas filter and old gas in the injectors. I doubt the starter will be bad but the solinod might be. And then when the engine starts, u might hear some knocking from the valves cause they haven' had any oil to lube them up. But all of this might be worst case scenero. Hope this helps. Oh and the A/c might need to be re-charged.

Good luck, hope it runs great for you!!! And just one more thing that you probably already know, check the belts to see if they are cracked and vaccume and rad hoses for dry rot.
