Hey everyone,

I'm new to these forums and i just wanted to get some feedback and answers.... don't worry I already did some researchBack in Feb. I sold my 350z and got a 240, I know.... most people tell me that i took a step back, but in reality I'm saving so much money because I don't have a monthly payment, plus I've always like the 240's. I got the 240 for a 1000.00 dollars with only 119,000 miles on it, I have pictures to show before and after (please comment)

So my main concern is that im planning to do an SR swap and i heard of this tiger japanese web site, i searched the forums and found some feedback on them but not a whole lot,

Just want to know if anyone has ordered through them and if they are reliable. thanks everyone.

Here's a before and after pic, tell me what you guys think

I think you should think about suspension before even considering an SR.... esp since you only have 119k on the ka..

Local guy bought an R32 GTR from Tiger. Like, the whole car. They're located 4 hours away from here. An hour away from home he spun a bearing and had to rebuild the motor.

Similar tiger horror stories are floating around.

Don't bother with Tiger Japanese, I tried cancelling my order and they wanted to charge me a restocking fee that was I think 5-20% of the orders cost, they said on a Monday they had the entire engine and harness ecu ready to go then that Friday I call and they say oh yeah we don't have the harness or ecu but will still charge you for it, then after a few days I finally hassled the right guy for my refund.

F*ck Tiger Japanese

Offroading is fun.

I agree with Adrian, get suspension before you worry about making more power.

I've had nothing but good service from them. Incredibly fast shipping, and my redtop was immaculate.

Every company... EVERY company... has it's ups and downs. Yes, there are tales of bad stuff happening and if you check the BBB you'll see unresolved stuff. (thats also because people have something broken that is explicitly NOT under warranty but they still file a report), but if you google you'll also read great reviews.

Ignore hear-say, thats all I can tell you. You'll see a bunch of "my buddy bought from there...." or "I heard......" Take into consideration only PROOF that THEY bought and reviewed the product, not a friend

ordered a bunch of stuff from them, (b18/B16/SR ECU) everything came crappy, the ecu had dents in it. I ordered the honda engines for friends on my cc at the same time and they both came blown...

so i wouldnt touch em. JDM source.ca FTW

I would suggest buying suspension first as well but if your gonna go ahead and get an SR I would recommend you buy from one of the sponsors on NICO. At least if something goes wrong they will be held to higher standards because they advertise on NICO, and the NICO staff can do more things to help you out in case anything goes wrong.

Tiger, has some good reviews here and there...but most of it is bad. IMO dont deal with them and go with a company that is more reputable.
