All done except for one little problem with bypass hose, help!

I have a rebuilt KA24DE in and all done except for one little problem. I forgot to put that U shaped radiator bypass hose on before putting the intake manifold on and now I'm trying to get it on the tube just behind the thermostat housing. What a pain it is giving me. Anyone have any suggestions? I know I can do it by either removing the intake manifold or the front cover. I just do not want to go through that again! I think you know what I mean.

I finally got it on. I used two long (12 inch) curved needle nose pliers, one pushing from the back (between the intake manifold pipes) while the other was used to pull the end of the hose on to the tube behind the thermostat housing. I split the end of the first hose and had to buy a new one. Do yourself a big favor if you rebuild a KA and put that bypass hose on before you install the intake manifold. Don't forget the heater hoses either!
