day 1 was really picking up the car and getting the parts to fix. here are some before pics

I went at it today test fitting all of the body pieces on there. Fitament isnt too good, but that is to be expected. I only worked at it for a couple of hours cause I had to work a 12 hour day today. Hopefully I can get more done on this pig tomarrow, maybe even get the panels fitting on the body better. Its not too noticable until I put the hood down and then it shows this sucka has been in an accident.Hood lattch is not adjusted yet either. This pic shows the twisted front frame. I am gonna be busy for the next few days.right lightleft lightthe fitament around the lights are the big issue.I got the rad mount just in case its too messed to fix. I am hoping I am not gonna have to put this on but if so no biggie.

Try readjusting the panel's. You might have to use shims. Ask a body guy, Adjusting goes a long way.

that is what my plans are for tomarrow! I have some wood shimms and am gonna try to find some plastic ones tomarrow. I am leaving work at 1100 cause the direct tv repair guy is coming to appraise our damages. So hopefully he will only be there for 20 min so I can be working all afternoon on my ride.

ok so I worked on it for 4 hours today and this is what I got now. I ended up having to remove the old the radiator support and put the new one in. I should have done this at first!!!The fit is not perfect still but I would say 100 times better. It is better than some 240's I have seen on here with their bricks installed.

Its all put togother now. I think it looks pretty good. Now to just get primer on this pignose. Flat black anyone???

I put my old liscense plate on there from my s14 just to mess round(this car is not hitting the road for a while.

Tel me what yall think about my work. I had to replace the radiator support. This was my first go at replacing panels and such.

I gotta replace the injectors and radiator still. I am still kinda in the air. I am on a tetter totter with sr on one side and rb25 on the other. I just dont know. I am waiting till the spring and my neighbor is gonna hook me up with a sick paint job. I am gonna do metallic green and mettallic black 2 tone with green on the top, I think. I just got this project 1 week ago. I am making slow progress and I am in no hurry to complete.

All I really have gotten done has been started flat blacking the car. Havent gotten it all done and I need to re do the hood. It is very streaky. My wife said it looks like the Batmobile.

I'm sure i'm not the only one who has a special place in his/her heart for the OEM two tones...ahh i want one! anyway the red and blue you have picked out, i can't help but think "GIANT's sponsored coupe." Its not an easy task picking out colors for a two tone, it always looks off if its not oem in my opinion.

I am thinking it is not gonna be a 2 tone ever again! I am thinking a vibrant color once the swap is completed. I am gonna get the aero swap build the motor, sr or rb25 to the max and take a few weeks of vacation and when I return from my vacation it will be all done. I just have to wait until I re-enlist Again. Gotta get that bonus $$$$. I have another year till then so I will have everything all planned by then. I want 500 hp so I am thinking what will be the best/most relilable. I am not really worrying about money cause I am getting a few bucks and only have a few bills to pay off with it. HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM. decisions decisions.

ok so I got some paint from work. It is black enamel 2 part. I am picking up a spray gun at harbor freight tomarrow and am gonna spray this down. I am not sure if I need a clear coat with this so I am gonna try a test piece. I broke my cam but I will borrow one for pics.

hey didn't you have a 1995 240sx SE? lol

I see you are painting your own car! Me and my dad painted my bumpers and aero with the old harbor freight gravity feed gun, they work great! GL

edit: If you decide to do the two-tone later down the road, I'd like to see a light misty blue up top and a dark grey on the bottom

Installing the rad support was easy. It was removing the old and doner one that was a pita. I musta drilled 100 spot welds. I just bolted the spot welds. I am gonna weld later, maybe I may get a couple generations newer rad support and headlights. I got an ELECTRIC paint gun. I am not sure how its gonna work. I have free black paint from work so I guess it'll be black for a while.

Thanks for positive feedback. A gem I dont know but a vast improvement. I am on hold with this cause I am having fuel pump issues.

Yea I had a 95 SE hense the name. That is long gone, in washington state. I always loved s13's SO much better!
